About the job

The Content Verification Specialist role is responsible for checking the accuracy, validity, and integrity of the scientific content produced by our writing and editorial teams. The role is office-based, and involves a range of content verification tasks and the skills to ensure the high quality of our deliverables. These tasks and skills include, but are not limited to:

  • reference checking
  • data verification
  • cross-annotating materials and references
  • working with content management platforms
  • providing clear feedback to colleagues
  • working independently, methodically, and embracing a perfectionist approach.

The role may also require occasional client contact.

About you

You will have a strong scientific background, with a degree in a relevant life science or medical subject (2:1 or above). A postgraduate qualification and/or previous experience within a medical communications agency, pharmaceutical company, or publishing environment is advantageous, but not essential. Applicants must be naturally inquisitive with a passion for accurate and effective scientific communication, an ability to concentrate for prolonged periods with a keen eye for detail, and an exceptional command of written English. You must be IT literate and have excellent organisational and communication skills. Candidates should work well within a team, and also be individually committed to excellence.
